Data Import

Client data can be imported into the waveBI platform in a number of different ways, the most common being either direct from speadsheets or by utilising Application Programming Interface (API) techniques.

Import from spreadsheets is typically used for one-off or infrequent data imports in circumstances where client data is to be used for historical analysis.

APIs are preferred when the requirement is for permanent secure business-to-business data connections – typically used for the creation of ‘real-time’ business intelligence information.  waveBI supports ‘push’ and ‘pull’ APIs for this purpose.
